Captain David Bayes is a lifelong Alaskan resident. Utilizing a degree in Biological Sciences and a passion for fishing, David has quickly carved out a niche amongst the competitive Homer fishing fleet and is well known as a top fisherman. Having previously served as president of both the Alaska Charter and Homer Charter Associations, Captain David takes great pride in his work. He goes above and beyond to satisfy his clients and to ensure they have a memorable successful fishing trip.
Captain Cory Loos has been spending his summers in Homer since 2009, becoming a permanent Alaskan resident in 2016. He has been a charter boat captain since 2012. As a young avid outdoorsman, Cory enjoys every day he can fish and hunt. He has a 100-ton master USCG license that he obtained mostly from fishing in Cook Inlet. Cory has learned lots of tricks of the trade to be successful in Alaska’s waters. He prides himself on clients catching the hard-fighting king salmon but also enjoys the thrill of bottom fishing for tasty halibut, rockfish and lingcod. In his time off from sportfishing, Cory has a commercial salmon fishing business in Alaska called CL Fisheries.
